Posted: Fri Mar 27, 2009 2:19 pmSomewhere I had read the the term "manga" itself was coined by the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai (ex. the Great Wave of Kanagawa). I think it said it meant doodle or something like that. Don't quote me on that though.
