Personally since I am American and read left to right I don't see anyghing wrong with drawing my manga left to right. I have my own style and hopefully people like it and if an editor demands I flip it to get a job maybe I will but I am not Japanese so I don't see any reason to change who I am. Sorry if that sounds harsh but I am pretty opinionated.

If anyone knows the common root cause of "skewing" in drawings, I'd really like to know; this is a problem almost everything I draw suffers from. Many other artists out there seem to have the same problem, too.

As far as reading preference, personally I have none, but if different publishers want one or the other, then your best bet is probably to set up your working files so that it's easy to flip the art and re-position the text bubbles.
