I have the wacom graphire 3 which is what became the bamboo tablet. I enjoy it a lot but I wish I could afford something better like the amazing cintiq. Based on my experience with the graphire, I recommend the Bamboo; it comes with some decent software too.

hi Shiningmonk

thanks for the advice
have taken the plunge and ordered a Bamboo One based on reviews and budgetary constraints
hope it was the right decision :?

should be an adequate tool to start with 8-)

when my pics sell for loads i can then always upgrade to a nice A4 tablet

Hi Denkikioiji

have got used to the graphics tablet- it is good enough for my needs at present.
The Bamboo is simple enough to use.

now i am trying to master the software. Artrage is okay for fun stuff and i like the ease of rotation which makes drawing easier in a screen.
Gimp will take a lot longer for me as i don't find it an intuitive system, but when i get used to it will be much more useful.
all i need is the tme and the talent
